Sweet!

Instead of going to Portugal, I convinced my parents to come in Prague (and Bratislava before) to visit.

My parents, long before I was born. Laurentino (on the left) and Edite (on the right).

Details have to be arranged but probably they'll come the week after the Easter. There is also the possibility of coming before Easter, but not so likely.

Ah, my little sister will come also, of course.

My sis, Susana.

Finally good news, I'm really happy.

P.S. (Portuguese friends, sorry to disappoint you but I'm not going to Portugal in the middle of the spring semester... I prefer to receive my family here and save the money for other travels. You could come here, right?)

Same story, different smell though

Yeah it's true, I've got a new room mate.

The last one (the Panda) was here for 1 month (more or less) and this one probably will stay for the rest of the year. /me starts crying compulsively

If I believed in God I would say that he is laughing at me, just having fun watching my reactions at the new room mates that he puts here on purpose.

This one is Turkish and is called Andar... well, I assume it's written like that 'cause it sounds like that. Now that I think it through, maybe not, the "r" is pronounced like "rj", but lets assume that it's correct.
He studies Computer Science and, again, he have a really low level in English language so that means that I'm leaving with someone that only knows how to say "Hi", "Good Night", "Good Morning", "How are you" and finally "What?" (when he doesn't understand what I'm trying to tell him).

As you can see everything sounds good until now but I kept the best part for the end - the smell o.0
This guy smells like dead animals. I bet that the Neanderthal Men smelled 10 times better than him.
Honestly, how is it possible? He have a nose, I checked that, but maybe it doesn't work. He is living here for more than one week and I swear that I've never seen him taking a shower! God damn it, speaking about this makes me nervous.

So, I'm an intelligent person, I needed a solution and I found it - ladies and gentlemen, I present you my new best friend:

Air Wick.

It works! Now the smell of cigarettes and dead animals is just a memory. For a small room this works pretty well.

This shouldn't be the solution, it would be better if the guy started taking showers everyday (I mean, am I asking for a big sacrifice?), but at least my nose is really happy.

--------------

About my life now.

The last month was quite boring... I had some works to do (still have one). The marks are pretty good, ridiculously good in fact.
I had also some partys, some times too much partys and my stomach is already complaining. I have to blame the French guys, they are always ready to party... and for them party means alcohol, loads of alcohol.

Ah, good news, 2 guys from Belgium arrived and they are great. Simple people, funny and they're also Mechanical Engineering students and are in the same condition as me - they'll finish this summer their master.

This weekend I went to Prague again and it was gooood. We went to Chapeau Rouge (Friday night) and to Cross Club on the next day.
On Friday night I had a lot of fun. Some friends came to meet me in Chapeau Rouge and we had a lot of fun.
Yesterday (Valentine's day) I was with them again in the afternoon.
Gosh, I miss them. A lot in fact..

For now it's all, I hope you had fun laughing at my misery (about the new room mate) :D

Kisses and Hugs,
André Lima
