Hi everyone.
Jorge, you have to explain me why you didn't enjoyed Berlin when you were there, 2 years ago.
The city is amazing. I arrived there on Friday, at 11:30 am, after 5h15m driving our precious Peugeot 306 t.
We (the 3 Portuguese guys and the 2 French guys) went from Ostrava, crossed half of Poland and entered in Germany in direction of Cottbus and finally Berlin.
Here you can see a little bit of the Berlin Wall.
Berlin is amazing. There I could find everything that matters for a young person like me.
It looks like the Young German people are completely different from the older generations. The cold and individualistic Germany is dead. The young Germans are intelligent and kid people, very open minded. Everybody speaks English and everybody is willing to help you, for example, when you get lost in the city at 6am (ups...).
The alcohol is really expensive, at least for a regular Portuguese guy, but the food is cheap, surprisingly cheap.
It was great to see the great monuments that I loved to see in the documentaries about Hitler and the WWII. I was really excited to be in a place so full of history.
In the other hand you can visit the "new Berlin", full of graffiti, alternative people, amazing pubs, underground places where you can buy the most weird products... it's a city full of things to discover.
Friday and Saturday night I went out with some friends from Prague (they where in Berlin also) and with other French people and it was great and expensive... but fun and that's what matters.
I will come back to Berlin, thats for sure... and if it's possible, I'd like to work there for a couple of years.

Now about my mom.
I'm so proud of her... 3 months ago she wasn't able to turn on the computer and now she speaks with me via messenger and skype and she's always surfing on the web, etc.
Some of you can think "yeah, what's the big deal?", but I assure you that it's a big deal for me and I'm really happy and proud. I always encouraged her to try to learn again, she's too smart to STOP learning and evolving, and finally she followed my advice and I can see that learning is having a great effect on her. I think that she thought that she didn't belonged to that generation because she couldn't understand nothing of informatics, new technologies of communication, but now she feels "younger" and thats great for her, and for me.

I've got so much confusion inside my head right now. I have a lot of work to do but it's hard to concentrate 'cause my mind is a mess right now... but nothing bad, in fact, for good reasons.
It's time to work. I have work for 3 people, not for 1. It will be really complicated to pass in all the subjects 'cause I accumulated a lot of work lately... but I have to try.
And I'll start trying now so...
Good night and good luck.
